Telangana To Experience Heat Wave For Three Days

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Weather Department Official Raja Rao informed that Telangana would be experiencing heatwave conditions for three days starting from Monday.

Bhadrachalam and Khammam had recorded a high temperature of 45 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Nalgonda and Ramagundam recorded 44 degrees, Hanmakonda and Nizamabad - 43 degrees, Adilabad and Mahabubnagar - 42 Degrees, and Hyderabad recorded 41 degrees Celsius. The hot winds from overland will affect Adilabad, Nizamabad, Khammam, Warangal, Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and other districts of the state.

On the other hand, a surface trough has formed over northeastern Chhattisgarh to the Comorin region across Telangana, Rayalaseema and interior Tamil Nadu. Due to this, the state will witness dry weather for three days. The day time temperatures are hovering between 45 to 47 degrees in the two Telugu states.

Neighbouring Andhra Pradesh is also in the grip of heat wave with the temperatures rising by the day. According to the reports, 19 people have lost their lives so far due to sun stroke.
