Four Drown In Karimnagar Lake 

Karimnagar: A trip to the lake turned tragic for four people on Saturday in Karimnagar. As per the details, the group had gone to the Kolanuru lake at Odela mandal on Saturday afternoon in a bid to learn swimming.

The victims were identified as Saturi Rajaiah (70), Siddharth (17), Adarsh (14) and Littu (10). It is learned that the three kids ventured into the lake to have a splash while their relative stayed on guard. However, the kids drowned in the water and, hearing their alarm, Rajaiah entered the lake to rescue them. In the process, he too drowned in the lake. The police managed to fish out the bodies of Rajaiah and Siddharth while efforts are still going on to retrieve the bodies of Adarsh and Littu.

All the victims are the natives of Godavarikani. The police examined the lake and registered a case in this regard.
