Hyderabad Man Dies After Being Hit By Car In London

Hyderabad: A man hailing from Hyderabad was killed in a road accident in London. The man identified as Mohd Osman Ali was hit by a car while walking at Bath road . The incident took place near Heathrow Airport on Wednesday evening.

Even though emergency services were called in immediately and efforts were made to save him, the victim succumbed to the injuries.

A local leader from Hyderabad, Amjed Ullah Khan approached the External Affairs Ministry (EAM) on Twitter seeking help for the victim's family. Responding to the post, EAM directed the Indian Commission in London to look into the matter.

The General Administration (NRI affairs) department has written a letter to the Consulate General of India (CGI) in London seeking assistance in sending the victim's body to Hyderabad.

Local authorities stated that the police is conducting an investigation into the accident. Further details are awaited.
