Selfie With Harikrishna’s Body, Social Media Outraged

Hyderabad: India's madness for selfies is second to no other country. Now, people have taken the selfie craze to the most bizarre and unreasonable lengths. In an insensitive and unthinkable act, the staff of Kamineni Hospital in Narketpally took a selfie with Telugu Desam Party leader Nandamuri Harikrishna's dead body. As soon as the picture went viral on social media, netizens were expressed their indignation at this unforgivable act of the hospital staff.

On August 29, the TDP leader died in a tragic accident near Addanki in Nalgonda district. The former MP was travelling to Nellore along with a couple of his friends. Harikrishna was rushed to Kamineni Hospital, where he was declared dead.

Several comments on the staff's lack of humanitarian values followed after the picture went viral.
