Vidyasagar said he was a civil engineer and had never been given any duly recognised for his work by his colleagues and officials. But just looking at Dr YSR’s family was a morale booster for him to continue doing what was right. He said while he was working both his kidneys failed and he also developed ulcers. The death of his daughter added to his problems he said and pointed out that his daughter had wished to meet YS Jagan.
Vidyasagar said his daughter's wish was not fulfilled, and he hoped that at least his wish would be fulfilled. He was happy that on behalf of YS Jagan, Srikanth Reddy had visited him to enquire about his health.
Later, Srikanth Reddy promised all help to Vidyasagar who was suffering from kidney failure. "I was asked by YSRCP Chief to visit Vidyasagar and understand his medical needs so that he could be provided with better medical care," he said.
