Hyderabad: City-based death metal band Godless stole the show during the recent Wacken Open Air (W.O.A.) music festival at Schleswig-Holstein near Hamburg, Germany. The audience at the four-day-long music festival, which hosted the likes of Brazilian thrash metal band Sepultura, loved the band's performance so much so that the band drew a breathtakingly unimaginable response. "We want more! We want more!" screamed the audience. With the performance, the Hyderabad boys attracted promoters from Finland and Sweden, besides getting an invitation to the Meltdown Festival in Germany next year.

Frontman Kaushal LS, with the support of drummer Aniketh Yadav, guitarist Rajiv Nidamarthy and bassist Syed Abbas Razvi comprise the band that played a four-song set before thousands of music enthusiasts. The band's originals Infest, Empty Graves, Infected by the Black and Oneiros slayed it at the world-class stage in Germany. Godless won the W.O.A. Metal Battle in India to represent the country at Wacken Open Air in Germany.

This is nowhere near the band's best performance, says Kaushal. In November, Godless's second album Swarm will be released, after Centuries of Decadence's release in May 2016.
