Power Outage, Waterlogged Roads In Hyderabad After Heavy Rains
Heavy rainfall lashed have been lashing the city over the last two days due to depression and low pressure in the surface of Bay of Bengal. The drizzles which started on Wednesday night seems to have taken a break for now after continuous downpour on Thursday evening.
On Thursday, an average of 3 cm rainfall was recorded at 8 am in the morning, according to Begumpet Meteorological department. The city also witnessed about 2 cm rainfall on Thursdayevening.
On the other hand, huge traffic jams and power outage in the city has crippled normal life for the denizens. Several areas and roads were been waterlogged because of the rain water.
The IMD has also forecast moderate rainfall in some parts of the city in the next 24 hours as low-pressure zone has formed over the Bay of Bengal.
