Telangana BCs Seek Permanent Solution To Reservation
Hyderabad: BC welfare groups are rooting for a permanent solution to the long-standing demand for reservations to BC communities. MLA R. Krishnaiah, who heads the BC Welfare Association, along with Gujja Krishna, Jaipal and Raj Kiran, met state Panchayati Raj and Rural Development minister, Jupally Krishna Rao and sought a lasting solution to their problems. They apprised him of the injustice that had been meted to BC groups by successive governments and said that they were hopeful of a decision in their favour.

The delegation pointed out that social justice was the cornerstone of governance and development. Only then was equitable development possible, they said. The group further said that the state government was going in for an appeal to the apex court. However, what was more important was to get a final order providing a permanent solution rather than a stay order, members of the delegation said.
