Telangana Students’ Mess Charges Hiked

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday hiked mess charges sanctioned by the government for all classes in hostels.

Speaking on an appropriation bill in the Assembly, KCR announced the hike that can benefit 18 lakh students in the state. The mess charges for the students of class 3 to 7 are hiked to Rs950, class 8 to 10 Rs1,100 and for the intermediate and degree students Rs1,400 per month.

The CM said what the government is spending is on the future of the state and there won't be any compromise on providing the best to the future citizens.
