Telangana SSC Results Out: Jagityal Tops, Wanaparthy At Bottom

The Telangana Government's Education Department has released the SSC examination results at the Telangana secretariat on Wednesday. Minister for Education Kadiyam Srihari has released the results. Education department's top mandarins were present on the occasion.

Here are the salient features:

* 84.15 Pass Percentage: A total of 5,33,710 students took the examination.Of them 84.15 per cent of the students have emerged successful.

* Girls Outshine Boys: Girls have again bettered boys when it came to pass percentage. While 85.37 per cent of the girls have passed the examinations, the boys registered only 82.92 per cent.

* Jagityal tops: Among the Telangana districts, Jagityal district topped the charts by notching up a pass percentage of 97.35. Wanaparthi district was at the bottom of the chart with 64.84 per cent.

* Cent Per Cent Results: As many as 2005 schools in the state have recorded 100 per cent success rate.

* Advanced Supplementary: The advanced supplementary examinations would be held from June 5 for those who could not clear the examinations.
