Telangana Public Holidays List For 2018 Released

The list of holidays for the year 2018 was released by the government on Friday
Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Friday announced the list of holidays for the year 2018.
The government also stated that there are 24 regular holidays for government offices and 17 optional holidays. Under the Negotiable Instruments Act, the government has finalised 21 days as paid holidays for all the public and private enterprises. The state government also said that the employees can take five days leave from the optional holidays with the permission from the authorized officer.
However, the government also notified that holiday schedule will not be applicable for the industries, educational institutions in the state. It also mentioned that these departments will have their own list of holidays for the year 2018.
If there is any change in the dates of Eid-ul-fitr, Eidul Zuhah, Moharram and Eid-e-Milad, the dates will be changed accordingly, the government said.
