KTR Miffed With Centre For Snubbing Telangana In Union Budget 2019
Hyderabad: Continuing his attack on the Centre for 'no allocation' of funds in the union budget for the state, Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president KT Rama Rao Thursday tweeted "That the word 'no' sums up allocations in the budget for Telangana." No new rail service, no new rail line, no survey for a new line, no Bullet rail, no hi-speed rail, no budgetary enhancement for ongoing rail projects," he said in the tweet.
That word 'NO' sums up allocations in budget for Telangana. Guess south of India is undeserving of Bullet Rail & Hi-speed Rail, he added.
Rao Saturday termed the union budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on July 5 as "extremely disappointing and insipid" from Telangana's perspective.
In a series of tweets, Rama Rao, the son of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, gave a "thumbs-down" to the #UnionBudget2019.
He also had said raising prices on petrol and diesel would lead to escalation of burden on daily consumables of all Indians.
