High Court Uphelds Telangana MLCs Ramulu Naik, Yadava Reddy Disqualification

Hyderabad: Disqualified Telangana MLCs Ramulu Naik and Yadava Reddy received unfavourable judgment in High Court on Wednesday. The court upheld their disqualification notices served on them by Telangana Legislative Council.

The court was dealing with Naik and Reddy petitions which claimed that their disqualification was illegal. In response to this, petitioners' lawyer asked the court to intervene to direct the Legislative Council to withhold the elections as they want to move the Supreme Court. The High Court said, in return, asked them to sort out the matter with Election Commission.
