Jagga Reddy Hurls Microphone As Scuffle Mars Telangana Congress Meet
Nalgonda: The Telangana Congress party which went to huddle in Nagarjuna Sagar to discuss recent poll debacle, party legislators' crossover to TRS, ensuing municipal elections and other issues saw heated debates. Amidst the ruckus, Sangareddy MLA Jagga Reddy pulled out the microphone and flung it across before walking out of the meeting in a huff.
Altercation broke out between leaders over the appointment of in charges for municipal elections. When Jagga Reddy insisted for continuing constituencies' MLAs as in charges for the municipal polls - reasoning that new appointees would have trouble understanding the situation on the ground - other leaders objected to his views. He remained hell-bent on his position even as other leaders did not relent on their stance too. In fit of rage, Jagga Reddy hurled microphone in his hand towards the dais and walked away from the meeting immediately.
