Congress MLA Jagga Reddy - Sakshi Post

Former minister T. Harish Rao is upset over not having been invited to the inauguration of Kaleshwaram irrigation project on Friday, Congress MLA Jagga Reddy alleged. Hence he was making allegations against the Congress party out of frustration, Reddy further said. Harish Rao was trying to please Telangana chief minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao by making such allegations against the Congress party, Jagga Reddy added. If Harish Rao does not the contribution of the Congress in building irrigation projects in the state, he should ask his uncle to enlighten him, Reddy said sarcastically. Harish Rao spoke out of ignorance when he said that the Congress had not built a single project in thirty years. The construction of projects should be supported regardless of who built them and this is the reason why they backed KCR, he said. He found fault with Harish Rao on this count.

Jagga Reddy questioned whether Singur and Manjeera projects had not been built by the Congress, adding that they provided drinking water to the city. He also reminded Harish Rao that it was the Congress which built Kalwakurthi, Ellampalli, Jurala, Nettampadu and Devadula projects. Reddy added that the projects built by the Congress party provided irrigation and drinking water to the people of the state. Jagga Reddy further said that baseless allegations against the Congress will not be tolerated.
