Congress Announces Candidates For Local Body Quota MLC Polls

After approval of the AICC, Congress has decided to field Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy's wife Laxmi Reddy from Nalgonda, party senior leader Enugaala Venkatrami Reddy from Warangal and Uday Mohan Reddy from Rangareddy for the MLC by-elections under local bodies’ quota.

As per the Election Commission of India (ECI) notification, Filing nomination would start on May 14 and the last date for the withdrawal will be on May 17.

Three MLC seats fell vacant after the resignation of Putnam Narender Reddy (Ranga Reddy), Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy(Nalgonda) and Konda Murali(Warangal)
