Exits Won’t Hurt Telangana Congress: Revanth Reddy
Malkajgiri Congress candidate A Revanth Reddy, who is now the TPCC president, has been making efforts to secure support from the Opposition leaders for the elections scheduled to be held on April 11.
At a meeting with the party workers, he exuded confidence that Congress would form the government at the centre after the Lok Sabha elections. He also demanded to know what Telangana Chief Minister KCR would do if he won 16 Lok Sabha seats.
He also mentioned that nothing would happen to the Congress if some of its leaders left the party. He also requested people to elect a strong leader just like their MP.
Former minister Ravindra Naik alleged that the Congress had nominated parachute leaders and defeated leaders and also said that the elected leaders had done injustice.
Ravindra Naik said that he would file his papers for nomination in the Lok Sabah election on March 22. He said that even though he was ready to settle for Nalgonda seat, some leaders were against his candidature, and he was denied the Mahbubabad seat.
