KTR Chooses Karimnagar To Start Political Campaign

KT Rama Rao - Sakshi Post

Karimnagar: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is primarily focusing now on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. To emerge victorious, the TRS working President and Sircilla MLA KT Rama Rao is leading the party cadre to secure 16 out of the 17 lok sabha seats in the state.

KTR is all set to his political campaign on March 6 from SRR Degree College grounds in Karimnagar. Earlier, KTR announced Boinapalli Vinod Kumar as the TRS candidate for Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency. KTR will be holding a meeting with the party cadre in Karimnagar to prepare the cadre to ensure B Vinod Kumar's victory.

With seven Assembly constituencies under its limit, Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency will be a massive region of focus for the TRS and the party is prioritising all the important leaders from village to mandal and constituency-level for registering a massive win in Lok Sabha elections.

Two district Ministers - Etala Rajendar and Koppula Eshwar will be leading the meeting with district in-charge and former Minister Baswaraju Saraiah, Karimnagar MLA Gangula Kamalakar in coordination with ZP Chairperson Tula Uma, city Mayor Ravinder Singh, Municipal Chairpersons, ZPTCs, MPTCs, corporators, Councillors and party leaders thriving to make the meeting a huge success.

According to the party sources, some of the leaders who won Assembly seats under Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency are reportedly not happy as allegations are being levied that few senior leaders indirectly helped the candidates of Opposition parties in back-stabbing their own party candidates in the recently conducted Assembly elections. KTR was brought to notice regarding this issue along with the reasons for losing two sitting MLA seats in Peddpalli and winning of Koppula Eshwar with a very less margin.

Despite this, TRS party chief and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao paved his way to a massive victory in the Assembly elections. Now, KTR is focusing on repeating the TRS win in the Assembly elections as well and is gearing up to launch the election campaign. The party cadre is planning to work in order to give majority to the candidates contesting in the LS elections.

Preparations are being held on a massive scale to welcome KTR at Shanigaram. A bike rally will be organised with youth at Godavarikhani bypass road at Sircilla. The TRS working president will be accompanied by TRS general secretary K Keshava Rao, Home Minister Mahmood Ali and will address about 25,000 activists of seven Assembly segments within the Karimnagar parliamentary constituency.
