Sarve Sathyanarayana: Sacking Uttam Alone Can Revive Congress In Telangana
Hyderabad: Former Union Minister Sarve Sathyanarayana welcomed the appointment of Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka as CLP leader in the Telangana assembly. He launched a fresh broadside against TPCC president, Uttam Kumar Reddy, saying that unless he is removed from the post of TPCC president, Congress fortunes will continue to ebb.
Sarve added that the results of Telangana assembly elections proved that the weaker sections stood by the Congress party. Sarve remarked that the Telangana Congress needed to be overhauled completely as a unit.
The former Union Minister criticised Uttam Kumar Reddy commenting that he had proved his incompetence in the assembly elections. Sarve demanded that Uttam submit his resignation and remarked that the TPCC president was clinging on to his position. He cautioned the party saying winning seats in the Lok Sabha elections under Uttam's leadership would be a challenge. Uttam has to go as TPCC chief if the Congress has to survive, he reiterated.
