Dattareya Bats For Telangana Development, Meets Gadkari
New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Bandaru Dattatreya expressed anguish over the delay in Telangana's cabinet expansion. He said placing all the powers in the hands of one person was not in the good spirit of democracy and that governance in various ministries was going awry.
On Thursday, Dattatreya met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and gave a memorandum seeking developmental activities in various Highways of Telangana.
Addressing media after the meeting, he said the Minister gave a positive response to include the following Highways in the list of National Highways: Siddipet-Elkathurthy, Jangaon-Duddeda, Medak-Yellareddy, Fakirabad-Bhainsa, Sircilla-Kamareddy, Valogonda-Thorrur, and Nirmal-Khanapur.
Thanks to the support of the Central government in the last four years, Telangana is today the No. 2 State in India, he added.
