Independent MLA Ramulu Naik From Wyra Joins TRS 

Hyderabad: Independent MLA from Wyra Assembly constituency L. Ramulu Naik formally joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi in the presence of its working president K.T.Rama Rao on Saturday.

Addressing the party workers from Wyra constituency, Mr. Rama Rao expressed his happiness that first MLA to join the party from outside hailed from Wyra and promised to pay special attention to Wyra constituency. He also said that it was Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s dream was to make Telangana prosperous by ensuring completion of ongoing irrigation projects.

Khammam MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy was instrumental in persuading the independent MLA to join the TRS .TRS working president K T Rama Rao, son of party president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, welcomed Naik into the party fold at an event here.

TRS had won 88 seats in a house of 119 in the December 7 assembly elections and with Ramulu Naik joining TRS the count has gone up to 89.Another independent Korukanti Chandar, who was elected on a Forward Bloc ticket, also announced his support to the TRS recently.
