AP Chief Minister <a href="https://www.sakshipost.com/topic/Chandrababu%20Naidu">Chandrababu Naidu</a> - Sakshi Post

Former MLA and TRS contestant from Nagarkurnool constituency, Marri Janardhan Reddy alleged that the Congress-led Praja Kutami was indulging in horse trading even before the counting of votes begins tomorrow. Lambasting the Congress leaders for trying to woo the TRS MLAs, he said that his party, under the leadership of caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR), will form the government with grand majority.

Janardhan Reddy accused Chevella MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, who recently shifted base to the Congress party, of resorting to offer money to the TRS MLA candidates. Addressing a press meet here on Monday, the TRS leader said he received a call from the MP, asking to shift to the Congress and showed his phone to media persons.

It is learnt that AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had begun the operations for horse trading behind the screens hours before the election results are to be announced tomorrow. According to sources, several Praja Kutami leaders have been entrusted with the responsibility of wooing the TRS leaders.

This comes as a major development as the Congress-led Praja Kutami met Governor Narasimhan ahead of the election results tomorrow. TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy, along with the leaders of the alliance partners, said to media outside Raj Bhavan, that they had informed the Governor on the formation of a pre-poll alliance.
