Congress Mahakutami Fought TRS Money Bags In Polls: Ponnam Prabhakar
Karimnagar: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president Ponnam Prabhakar said that the Praja Kutami candidates fought against the TRS money bags in the assembly elections. The Congress party will reverse the 2014 election results this time around, he said. KCR's negative publicity on the Congress-led Praja Kutami helped us tremendously, he added.
Ponnam said that the people of the State understood KCR's intention behind calling for early polls. After criticizing the Congress's manifesto, KCR copied the same in the TRS manifesto, he observed.
Rejecting the TRS claims that the Congress spent thousands of crores for advertisements during elections, the Congress leader ridiculed KTR's statements on TRS winning 100 seats. The Congress candidate from Karimnagar assembly constituency further said KTR feared the Praja Kutami. Our alliance is public, he added.
"Isn't it true that the TRS had a secret pact with the MIM and the BJP? In three shifts a day, the Congress workers are guarding the strong rooms where the EVMs are placed," he said.
In case of doubts over EVM tampering in any of the constituencies, we will seek counting of the VVPAT slips, like we did in Gajwel bye-election, he added.
