KCR Exudes Confidence About Retaining Power After Casting Vote
Chintamadaka, Siddipet District: Caretaker chief minister of Telangana K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) exuded confidence about retaining power for a second term after casting his vote at a polling station in Chintamadaka of Siddipet district. KCR was addressing the media after casting his vote along with his wife. He said that the mood seemed to favour TRS and that a groundswell of support was visible in Hyderabad.
KCR also predicted a higher voter turnout this time around, and mentioned enthusiasm among the elderly. With just over a couple of hours left for curtains to come down on polling, it remains to be seen as to how accurate his prediction on high voter turnout would be.
“The mood of the state seems to be in favour of TRS once again”, KCR is reported to have said. He also said that the TRS would win with a heavy majority and that the party leadership is no doubt on this count. KCR added that exit polls in the evening would bear this out.
