KCR Mortgaged Telangana Self-Respect For Selfish Interests: Uttam
Hyderabad: TPCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy pointed that K Chandra Shekar Rao is being close to Narendra Modi to escape investigation charges filed in the ESI corporation building scam. This happened when KCR was the Union Labour Minister. KCR forced the officials after inviting them to his house, to issue the contract to AP fisheries instead of National Building Construction(NBC) a public sector company. This contract was handed over to Executive Engineer Elugubanti Suryanarayana, who was facing many corruption allegations. This case is pending with CBI and KCR’s name has been taken off the charge sheet. The evidence can also be produced in this case, he said. This case is an indication of the closeness between Modi and KCR.
A press meet was organised by TPCC Uttam Kumar Reddy, TTDP president L Ramana, CPI leader, Ex MP Azeez Pasha, TJS leader Vidhyadhar Reddy. KCR, who went to Delhi frequently in the name of eye checkups was in talks with Modi and other important leaders to wriggle out of the case. In the statements issued in the presence of CBI judge, the officials said the contract was forcibly handed over to the other company instead of NBC, and that the talks over the contract took place in the central minister's residence. KCR has mortgaged the respect of Telangana to safeguard his personal interests. He said, KCR also has not implemented the bifurcation bill, leading the people of Telangana into misery.
Uttam criticized comments of KCR on Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. He added, as a mother, who has conceived Telangana, she spoke with grief and KCR is demeaning her speech. He also questioned KCR, whether Chandrababu stopped him from making a dalit the CM of the state, giving three acres of land to the adivasis, extending the reservation up to 12% for Muslims and adivasis. Has he stopped you from giving water to one lakh acres in the constituency.
