Lagadapati Rajagopal’s Sensational Prediction On Telangana Election Outcome

Tirumala: Former MP Lagadapati Rajagopal, who is known for his fairly accurate political surveys, made a sensational comment on the outcome of the Telangana elections, one week from the election day on December 7. He addressed the media after seeking Lord Venkateshwara's blessings in the Tirupati shrine here today.

Predicting the victory of a sizable bunch of independent candidates in Telangana, the former Congress leader said he would announce the overall outcome of the polls on December 7 evening. "Around 8-10 independent candidates will win in the elections. Up until the election day, I will announce two names every day," he added.

"Jadav Anil Kumar in Boath constituency and Narayanpet's Shiva Kumar will win the election."

Lagadapati restrained from revealing his survey findings in other constituencies in view of the influence on the actual outcome. Independent candidates do not have a bearing on the performance of major political parties, he explained.

The former Vijayawada MP further said people from both the Telugu States were watching the elections closely. He appreciated the people of Telangana for not succumbing to the political gimmicks played out by the politicians.
