KCR Is Anti-BC: Komatireddy In Congress Election Rally, Nalgonda

Nalgonda: Criticizing caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) for restricting himself to his Gajwel farm house, senior Congress leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy termed KCR as a person opposed to the Backward Classes. KCR does not even pay tributes to important national leaders on their anniversaries, said Komatireddy citing the 128th birth anniversary of social reformer Jyoti Rao Phule.

On Wednesday, the Nalgonda MLA aspirant remembered the national leader on the occasion after garlanding the Jyoti Rao Phule statue at Nalgonda's clock tower. "KCR is a anti-BC leader. After the Congress comes to power, we will officially celebrate Jyoti Rao Phule's anniversary each year. KCR rule has left thousands of students in a lurch. These students had highly benefited from the Congress fee reimbursement scheme. We will reinstate the scheme to its past glory," he added.

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy called on people of the State to reject KCR in the upcoming elections. With a special interest towards the welfare of the BCs, the Congress fielded BC leader R Krishnaiah in Miryalaguda Assembly constituency, he explained.
