KCR Slams PM Modi At Banswada Rally
Banswada: Telangana caretaker chief minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for speaking falsehoods at his Nizamabad election rally on Tuesday. KCR was addressing a massive election meeting here this afternoon. The TRS chief said that people should triumph in an election. Therefore, people should vote with caution after ascertaining facts.
KCR said that on the one side there was the Congress-TDP Mahakutami which had been in power for more than 5 decades and ranged against it it was the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), a party which led the Telangana movement and has been in power for four years. What were the Congress and TDP doing with respect to power supply all these years?
The TRS supremo ridiculed AP chief minister Chandrababu for boasting that he built Hyderabad. "What should Quli Qutub Shah say"?, KCR asked. Chandrababu Naidu also claims that he placed Hyderabad on the world map. Why did he not ensure uninterrupted power supply? This was KCR's poser to Chandrababu Naidu.
KCR also slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for saying in Nizamabad that there was no power supply. He asked the people present at the rally whether Banswada had no power supply. It was unbecoming of a PM to utter such falsehoods,he added.
The TRS chief listed some of the achievements and welfare schemes of the TRS government, while seeking support for the party candidate, Pocharam Srinivas Reddy. He observed that Nizam Sagar would always remain full in the days to come and also promised a degree college for Banswada.
It was the TRS government which stood by those involved in traditional occupation, including weavers, toddy tappers and those from other communities.
