Drive Chandrababu Away From Telangana: KCR
Caretaker chief minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao appealed to the people of Telangana to drive Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu away from the state. KCR cautioned the people of the state against letting Chandrababu who has a clear anti-Telangana record against succeeding in his conspiracies once again. "I will not allow Kaleshwaram project", says Chandrababu. Should he be given the reins of the state, KCR questioned. "Does Telangana need Chandrababu's leadership?, he asked. The crowd thundered its disapproval to which the TRS chief said, "I see the same anger and resentment everywhere in Telangana."
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) supremo was addressing a massive election meeting in Tirumalagiri of Thungaturthi constituency in Suryapet district this afternoon. He urged the people of the constituency to vote for the TRS candidate, G. Kishore Kumar.
KCR told the huge gathering that minister, Jagadishwar Reddy takes as much pride as he does at the fact that the per capita electricity use in Telangana is the highest in the country.
The caretaker chief minister highlighted the achievements of the TRS government including the Rythu Bandhu scheme and the one lakh rupees loan waiver.
The TRS supremo stressed on the significance of Rythu Bheema scheme for all farmers, whether they owned half acre or one acre. He added that so far 3,400 farmers benefited from this pioneering scheme which was also hailed by United Nations.
KCR reminded the people present at the election rally that bushes grow in canals dug by Congress and TDP leaders. Contractors lined their pockets from such projects, he said.
The TRS supremo assured the people of the area of 10 months of water. He also told them that he was committed to build a reservoir at the Rudrama Devi tank nearby with a capacity of 3.5 tmc and one at Vempati with a capacity of .5 tmc. KCR also promised a 100 bed hospital to the people of Tirumalagiri.
