Kyama Mallesh Sacked For Calling Congress Corrupt

TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy , Kyama Mallesh - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Congress Ibrahimpatnam seat aspirant and Ranga Reddy District Congress Committee (DCC) President, Kyama Mallesh is facing the axe by the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC).

The TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy sacked him from the DCC President's post and also sent him a show-cause notice on Tuesday for which he was expecting a reply in the night itself.

It may be recalled that Kyama Mallesh had made allegations against AICC Screening Committee Chairman Bhakta Charan Das saying that his son had demanded Rs 3 crores for Ibrahimpatnam constituency ticket and the news went viral on the internet, showing the TPCC in poor light.

Addressing the media in response to the TPCC sacking him, Kyama Mallesh said that he had been working for the party for the last 35 years and till date never criticised the High Command, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi herself or her son Rahul Gandhi. In fact he said that Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy was to be suspended for making allegations against the high command and Karthik Reddy, when his followers destroyed Congress party's flag posts because he was denied the ticket.

Mallesh said that he had approached the media as he had no choice because he didn't receive any response either from the TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar or RC Khuntia, despite his complaint about corruption and the party screening committee demanding money for allotting him a ticket, he said. A person who has worked hard for the party for so long is denied justice, he said.
