KTR Asks Sathupalli Voters To Teach Mahakutami A Fitting Lesson
Khammam: Caretaker minister and senior Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader K. Tarakarama Rao described the Mahakutami or Grand Alliance as a coming together of forces inimical to the interests of the state. He urged the people of Telangana to teach forces who tried the development of the state, a fitting lesson when they come seeking votes.
KTR attacked the Congress and TDP saying that opportunistic political forces were combining and reminded the people of 30 letter which AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu had written trying to block Srirama Sagar project in Telangana.
The senior TRS leader sought the support of the people for the candidature of Pidamarthi Ravi from Sathupalle Assembly constituency. KTR recalled that the Congress and TDP had ordered firing on innocent farmers who demanded power supply. In contrast, the TRS government provided 24 hour power supply, he said. He also said that the amount under Rythu Bandhu would be hiked to Rs. 10,000 after the TRS comes to power.
KTR exhorted the constituents of Sathupalle to vote for the TRS to ensure the supply of Godavari water to the area. "Let Rahul Gandhi give them seats, let Chandrababu give them notes, but you vote for TRS and teach the Mahakutami a fitting lesson," he said. KTR concluded by saying that while the Mahakutami is busy sharing seats, the TRS party is celebrating by distributing sweets.
