KCR To File Nomination On November 14, Election Notification Expected Tomorrow

Hyderabad: Aiming for the Telangana Rashtra Samithi's (TRS) re-election to power in the upcoming Assembly elections, caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) on Sunday met the party's candidates here at Telangana Bhavan on Sunday. After offering floral tributes to the Telangana Thalli statue at the party office, the TRS Chief handed B-forms to the already announced 107 candidates.

KCR explained to the TRS contestants the safety measures to be taken while filing the nominations. Asking them to cover all regions in the constituency, he instructed them to be ahead of all the opposition candidates in all respects during the poll campaign.

Meanwhile, KCR, TRS candidates from Secunderabad, Malakpet and Uppal--Padma Rao Goud, Chava Satish and Bethi Subhash Reddy respectively are expected to file nominations on Wednesday, November 14, it was announced. BJP LB Nagar candidate Perala Shekhar Rao will also file his nomination papers on the same day.

On the following day, TRS candidate from Maheshwaram Teegala Krishna Reddy will file his nomination. In the 119 Assembly constituencies, the TRS is yet to announce its candidates in 12 constituencies.

Although the 12 constituencies were a part of discussion in today's meeting, the party strategically plans to announce the candidates after the alliance announces its candidates. Watch this space for more updates on Telangana elections 2018.
