Owaisi Dares Congress, BJP Leaders To Contest Against Him
Golkonda, Hyderabad: All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen supremo and Hyderabad Member of Parliament, Asaduddin Owaisi dared Congress and BJP leaders to contest against him for the Hyderabad seat. Addressing a gathering of AIMIM workers at Hakimpet here on Wednesday, Owaisi accused PM Narendra Modi of weakening the country's economy. The Hyderabad MP also alleged that the Congress party is to be held squarely responsible for backwardness in the Muslim community. If the Congress were to return to power, it would to the misery of the minorities and backward sections of society.
The AIMIM supremo asserted that neither the BJP nor the Congress had the moral right to ask for votes. He said that the BJP was taking the masses for a ride in the name of Lord Rama. He sought the support of the constituents of Karwan to the MIM candidate and former MLA representing the seat, Kauser Mohiuddin, saying he had done a lot of development work in the area. Also present in the meeting were the consituency MLA in the dissolved house Kauser Mohiuddin, cororators Naseeruddin and Rajender Yadav, local leaders Pasha Bhai and Yamin Khan among others.
