Chandrababu Pumping Huge Amounts Of Money Into Telangana Elections: KTR
Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader and caretaker minister for IT K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) in an explosive press conference here today said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was trying to disrupt the smooth conduct of election campaign in Telangana. Chandrababu is willing to spend thousands of crores of rupees in the Telangana election campaign, he said.
KTR said that the Telangana police found certain suspicious individuals carrying cash at Dharmapuri on Friday. "During campaign activity at Dharmapuri, the police questioned certain strangers. But, it was found that they were AP police personnel. What are they doing in Telangana?" he demanded to know.
The TRS leader further said that the party leaders had already complained to the Election Commission on the issue with thorough evidence. KTR's comments in the context of speculation that Chandrababu deployed the Andhra Pradesh Intelligence in Telangana to gain benefit in the upcoming elections gain added significance.
