Election Commission Issues Notices To Jagga Reddy

Former Sangareddy,MLA -Jagga Reddy - Sakshi Post

Sangareddy: Congress party leader and former MLA from Sangareddy, Jagga Reddy who is out on bail in the human trafficking case since September, has received notices from the Election Commission officials for violating the Model Code of Conduct. On October 17th Jagga Reddy had participated in an election rally in Sangareddy, where he abused the caretaker CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and also made several promises to the public, some of which prima facie violate the model code of conduct. He condemned KCR in an abusive manner for putting him in jail and he also promised people in the constituency that he would get forty thousand housing sites and also set up a separate bank to fund party workers.

This was brought to the Election Commission notice by TRS leaders who were present at the rally. Sangareddy returning officer RDO Srinu sent him a notice after verifying the submissions made by the party members and told Sakshi that further action would be taken based on his reply to the notice.
