Congress Envious Of TRS Welfare Schemes: KTR

Telangana caretaker minister for IT K Taraka Rama Rao - Sakshi Post

Siricilla: Telangana caretaker minister for IT K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) alleged that the Congress leaders criticized caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and his son because they were jealous of the developmental activities taken up by the government in the last four years. KTR on Sunday attended a meeting with the TRS workers at Musthabad in the constituency. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Congress leaders were trying to create roadblocks in the construction of irrigation projects by filing hundreds of cases in courts.

KTR further said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was trying to detroy Telangana by spending Rs 500 crores in the State. He urged the people to decide between the 67 years of worst rule of the Congress and the TDP and the four years of progress under TRS rule.

"The 24 hours of electricity to farmers was possible because the public rejected the Congress. We urge the people of the State to give a similar verdict in the upcoming elections. The farmers have to decide between the anti-farmer Congress rule and the TRS rule which provided financial assistance to farmers through Rythu Bandhu scheme. Telangana stands No.1 in the implementation of welfare schemes," he explained to the TRS workers.
