Congress Will Snatch Away Gajwel From TRS: Uttam Kumar

In the Telangana Chief Minister''s home constituency of Gajwel , the CM and his aides are having a tough time in holding the TRS fort and its followers in the party. A MPP leader from Jagdevpur, Renuka along with two MPTC members Mamata Bhanu & Savitha Yadagiri and two sarpanchs and two councillors, Bhagyalakshmi and Durga Prasad defected to the Congress Party yesterday. The Chief Minister's farmhouse is located in Jagdevpur and a MPP member from that place had already joined the Congress Party.

In bizarre turn of events on Wednesday a few Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leaders including Vattipalli MPTC Kunta Kavitha, senior leader Yadagiri, Itikyal sarpanch Ilaiah and their followers from Gajwel Assembly constituency had joined Congress in the presence of PCC President N Uttam Kumar Reddy and immediately did a U turn and returned to the TRS within 24 hours after defecting and all this in was done in the presence of Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao. Those who returned to the TRS included Vattipalli MPTC Kunta Kavitha, senior leader Yadagiri, Itikyal sarpanch Ilaiah and their followers Speaking to Sakshi, TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy said that there is every possibility of the Congress wresting the Gajwel Constituency from the KCR''s hands.
