Congress Grand Alliance, A Case Of One Shot Four Parties: KTR

Telangana minister KTR - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Telangana caretaker minister for IT K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) today said that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) would have a golden oppurtunity to kill four birds in one shot, taking a jibe at the grand alliance of Congress, Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) and the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPM), in the upcoming Assembly elections. The students had fought like brave soldiers during the Telangana agitation, he added.

Speaking at a meeting with the TRS students wing along with Peddapalli MP Balka Suman in Telangana Bhavan, he remarked that the Congress leaders like Uttam Kumar Reddy who had slept at their homes during the agitation were indulging in cheap politics. Adding that the upcoming elections were a fight between Congress president Rahul Gandhi and the self-respect of the people of the State, he recalled that the TRS joined hands with the Congress and the TDP in 2004 and 2009 respectively because they took a stand for the formation of the State.

KTR said Prof. Kodandaram was joining hands with the Congress and the TDP, which were responsible for the loss of lives of Telangana martyrs. "The Congress leaders should explain how many of the promises given in their manifesto have been fulfilled in the past. They are getting ready to mortgage the State's interests to TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu," he added.

Chandrababu's Corruption In Thousands Of Crores In Amaravati

TRS MP Balka Suman said on the occasion that the students had played a crucial role in the State formation. While Chandrababu is planning to take away Telangana's resources, the Congress leaders who had been caught in Note for vote case are criticizing caretaker CM KCR, he added.

"The TDP leaders, who are involved in large-scale corruption in Amaravati capital city, are terrified over the IT raids in Andhra Pradesh. These leaders have again set their eye on Telangana's resources," he remarked.
