Telangana caretaker Chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Remembering former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for his services in boosting the country's nuclear power prospects, Telangana caretaker Chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao today placed a condolence resolution on Vajpayee and other eminent personalities in the State Legislative Council. He recalled that the country's first PM Jawaharlal Nehru predicted that Vajpayee would one day lead the country.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that Vajpayee was one of the rare persons who were conferred with the 'Bharat Ratna' status. Saying that the former PM's memories and services would inspire future generations, he said that Vajpayee always lauded whenever good work was done irrespective of the political parties. Vajpayee was a national leader who had rendered top-class governance in his regime, he praised.

In this regard, KCR announced that the State government decided to build a Vajpayee memorial in a one-acre land. "On behalf of Telangana government and the Council, we pray Vajpayee soul rests in peace. Our condolences to the family members of the leader," he said.
