TRS Must Stop Cheap Politics: Congress Women’s Wing

Hyderabad: After a cheating case was filed by Subedari police against senior Congress leader Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy, based on complaint from a woman, the Congress party Women's wing leaders lambasted the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leaders saying that the ruling party was resorting to false allegations and personal attacks. Speaking to media at Gandhi Bhavan here today, Congress leader Seethakka said that the TRS leaders were incapable of tackling Congress politically, which is why they were indulging in personal attacks.

Seethakka further said that the TRS leaders were targetting those who had the potential to win as MLAs from the Congress party. She remarked that it was unfortunate that the ruling party stooped so low and resorting to cheap politics.

Speaking on the occasion, Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy's wife Jyothi said that the TRS leaders were trying to spoil the repuatation of her husband. She challenged the TRS leaders to fight politically instead of launching political attacks.

Advocate Sunita Rao said that TRS party, which does not have a single woman in the State Cabinet, should stop indulging in cheap politics.
