KCR-Modi Meet: Kaleshwaram, High Court And Secretariat Key Topics
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi to discuss various important issues pertaining to the state, pending government approvals on the new zonal system and division of the High Court, and the assurances made under the AP State Reorganization Act, 2014. In an 45-minute meeting with PM Modi, KCR had a detailed discussion on several issues.
KCR sought PM's nod for the approval for the newly-created zonal system in the State. Also, the long-pending issue of the division of the High Court in Hyderabad between the two Telugu States was also brought to PM Modi's attention.
The Telangana CM also discussed on funds to the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project and allotting defence land for the proposed new Secretariat in Secunderabad.
On Friday, KCR met Union Law and Justice Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and discussed about the division of Hyderabad High Court.
