Ramagundam MLA To Quit Politics, Blames TRS Functioning
Karimnagar: Ramagundam TRS MLA and RTC Chairman Somarapu Satyanarayana made a sensational announcement today at Singareni workers gate meeting. He said he had decided to retire from politics. He blamed the TRS functioning and lack of discipline within the party as reasons for his decision. He said he always wanted to keep Singareni workers in the loop about his decisions, a reason why he was making this announcement here.
The TRS MLA said that he had encouraged many people within the party and today they were conspiring against him. It is learnt the no-confidence motion against Ramagundam Mayor K Lakshminarayana has caused disturbance within TRS. It is understood that the no-confidence motion did not go well with the TRS top leadership and municipal minister KT Rama Rao had made a phone call to Satyanarayana to stall the no-confidence motion.

It is learnt that the MLA tried to explain the situation of Ramagundam TRS, but KTR was not interested. According to sources, it is believed that KTR had warned the MLA, "Will you stop the no-confidence motion or shall we get an ordinance against it."
Based on the instructions from TRS top leadership, the MLA issued notice and tried to persuade the corporators in vain. With pressure from both the sides, Satyanarayana felt dissuaded and decided to quit politics.
