Telangana of the dead, not Golden Telangana: Revanth
Hanumakonda: Speaking to the press in Hanumakonda on Tuesday, Revanth Reddy accused KCR's government of turning Telangana into a state of the dead, instead of the Golden Telangana that he keeps referring to and blamed the misrule of the Telangana government for the 1800 suicides across the state.
He accused the government of brutally killing the PG students Shruti and Vidyasagar Reddy who had fought for the statehood of Telangana. He pointed out that though KCR kept calling naxalite agenda as his own agenda, the naxalites themselves had refuted it. Which naxalite agenda had four from the same family as sitting ministers?, he questioned.
Revanth also raised the issue of a farmer, Komrayya who was thrown in jail by the government for demanding the appropriate support price for cotton and demanded to know the reason for not arresting Kadiam Srihari who had publicly ridiculed and insulted the farmer.
After the courts refused to admit the petition on farmers' problems filed by Mr. Kodandaram, the CM has no moral right to continue in office, he said.
