Telangana Mulls To Set Up Rs 270 Crore International Leather Complex

Hyderabad: The Telangana government plans to establish Rs 270 crore international leather complex at Station Ghanpur village in Warangal district.

The proposal is prepared by IL&FS Cluster Development Initiative Limited, an official statement said. KTR requested the Centre to sanction Rs 105 crore grant under the Indian Leather Development Programme of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry

Telangana Industries and Commerce Minister K T Rama Rao met Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi on Friday and gave her a copy of the proposal of the complex to be built on 117-acre land.

The proposal is prepared by IL&FS Cluster Development Initiative Limited, an official statement said. KTR requested the Centre to sanction Rs 105 crore grant under the Indian Leather Development Programme of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, it said.
