Telangana MPs decide to quit LS,Congress
Telangana Congress MPs who met at Vivek's residence in Hyderabad on Monday, announced that they decided to resign from both the party and the Lok Sabha membership.
The MPs said they will send in their resignations to Congress president Sonia Gandhi through a letter. However, the MPs said that they would announce their future course of action on Tuesday.
The meeting was held to discuss their future course of action in view of Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad's statement that further consultations were needed on the statehood issue.
