Telangana has Rs 61,71 thousand crore outstanding arrears

The Central Government has apporitioned the debt arrears to both the Telugu states.

As part of this notification, of the total of Rs 1.48 lakh crores, the Telangana gets Rs 61.71 thousand crores and AP Rs 86.34 thousand crores. However, another Rs 18.43 thousand crores of loans given by the foreign institutional lenders and the Central Government are yet to be apporitioned. Among the loans yet to be apporitioned lonas are the amount lent by foreign lenders for the KC Canal Modernisation and for the waste water treatment in Hussain sagar.
