Telangana Govt Postpones TGT Mains Exam Following Teachers’ Demand 

Hyderabad: Following a vehement demand for the postponement of the Mains exam of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) by the candidates, the state government on Monday decided to reschedule the mains exam.

The mains exam for PGT is rescheduled on July 18 and 19, for PD on July 19 and for TGT on July 20, 22. The aspiring teachers, who had appeared for the preliminary exam on June 13 and 14 took out a rally in Osmania University on Friday. They alleged that announcing the date for the main exam, before declaring the prelims result, is unacceptable and argued that 15 days time is not sufficient to prepare for the exam.

As per the schedule released by TSPSC, the mains exam for PGT was scheduled on June 29 and 30. The dates for the TGT exam are July 4, 5 and 6.
