Telangana Govt Gift to Muslims For Ramzan 

The distribution process of the gift packets will be initiated by May 20 - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has announced that it will distribute over four lakh gift packets with clothes for muslim families in 800 mosques across the state as a Ramzan present. It also said that the distribution process will be initiated by May 20.

A meeting with Minorities Welfare Department secretary M. Dana Kishore, Managing Director of Telangana Handlooms, Weavers Cooperative Society (TSCO) Shailaja Ramaiar and other officials, the advisor of Minorities Welfare Department secretary AK Khan was held. Along with distribution of gifts, Iftaar party was also discussed in the meeting.

According to AK Khan, the procurement of gift packets will be made from TSCO and they will be delivered before May 20.

Khan also said that the state government has announced Rs 2000 crores for the welfare of Minorities in 2018-19 budget and it has already released Rs 496.77 crores for fees reimbursement, scholarship, pre-matric scholarships and Shaadi Mubarak scheme.
