Telangana govt announces power tariff hike

The Telangana Electricity Regulatory Commission announced 4.3 percent hike in power tariff for domestic consumers who use more than 200 units per month.

Energy charges remain unchanged for all commercial consumers for consumption below 100 units per month.
The Telangana ERC also announced that for poultry farms Rs 2 will be cut per unit and hike will not be applicable for cottage industries.
