Telangana Government Gifts Land To PV Sindhu

Hyderabad: The Telangana Government on Monday gifted 1000 sq yards of land in Shaikpet area of Hyderabad to Olympic silver medalist and badminton sensation PV Sindhu.
After her winning the silver medal at Rio Olympics last year, the Telangana Government had promised her 1000 sq yards of land. The orders to this effect were passed now.
The Telangana Government had also announced a cash award of Rs 5 crore and a job as a token of appreciation.
